oh, thank you! the map link I tried before did not work. I did not realize it was a kiosk bar. I was looking on the other side of the street where there are a bunch of restaurants and cafes. but is it between posto 1 and 2? or past 1 towards leme beach? Thanks for your help!

Go to Avenida Atlantica, near the end of Leme Beach in Rio. Go to the front of the restaurant La Fiorentina. There is a bronze statue of Ary Barroso (composer of Aquarela do Brasil) sitting at a table by the sidewalk in front of La Fiorentina. Look directly across the street, towards the Atlantic Ocean. Right next to the sandy beach you will see two open-air kiosk bar/cafes, the one on the right (Southwest side) is "Estrela de Luz". Enjoy!
