So this is the second time I've come to one of these TGIFs when NO ONE SHOWED UP. Or at least they didn't make their presence known. The last time, I decided not to post anything as there were only 4 people signed up including me and my gf so it was conceivable they came and went before we got there. However, I had asked how to recognize the group and got no response. This time, with 9 people, I don't think that excuse works. I also don't think the organizer should hide her picture or not describe herself so we know who to look for. I wanted to attend these TGIFs to meet club members as I was considering joining but I guess you answered that question for me. BTW, it's Hotel Valencia, not Valenias and the bar is on the 3rd floor so if you didn't know that, good luck finding it.

There was over a dozen people. Some people came in and asked the group if this was the Apres group - that is how you find the people. Also very few who come reply to meetup. Lets not be so critical of the organizer who volunteers his or her time. Admit the bar is tricky to find the first time, but the palce does have a great deal on the TGIF special food and drink. I like the place better when the sun shines.

Hong, so sorry you had a bad experience. We corrected the spelling of the Hotel's name before the TGIF, but if you looked up BV Bar Santa Ana Row you would have seen the correct spelling online. When I arrived with a friend around 5:45pm there were about 9 of us there and 3 came later. I agree with Dick that until you recognize the members don't feel shy about approaching groups and asking if they are there for Apres TGIF. It was difficult to find for someone there for the first time, but don't give up on us. We love welcoming new people. And like Dick said, very few people actually respond to Meet Up. Many people in our group are still trying to catch up with the learning curve when it comes to the internet.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
