Do you want to have a place where you can practice speaking Arabic? Do you want to improve your current Arabic skills? Are you a native speaker that is willing to share your skills and experiences with non-native speakers and other native speakers? Are you interested in the culture and/or literature of the Middle East? We offer the first Arabic Book Club worldwide through Meetup!

Come join us in Oak Park! We are a supportive group that encourages diversity and all levels of Arabic.

I decided to organize this group to offer a local alternative to those who can't always meet with Hisham's group at the Ambrosia Cafe near De Paul. Hisham and I thought that we could team up and provide more opportunities for people who want to speak Arabic and share experiences. Join both groups to expand your options and broaden your experiences.

This group is for anyone interested in Arabic language and culture. Join today!

“Hi everyone. I'm first generation born in this country and listened to Arabic all my life, but my parents never pushed me to learn. So I would rate my speaking at beginning level. I would like to become fluent in Arabic as it is my roots.”
