Self employed architect since 1989.
Design-build experience. dating back to 1970s, residential and commercial projects. Some Landscape design. I supplement my design practice by solving agency (DoB, DCP, DEC, BSA etc) and legalization problems for a variety of clients, stuck with CofO's they can not get resolved, or clearing violations. If we are working for someone who wants to build, we want to help them build well, and with sincerity.
Have had an Idea along these lines in the back of my mind for quite some time. It is difficult for small offices to keep up with the fast changing world, from codes and zoning issues through products and even software applications.
hi steve, DEFINTELY look for the recoreded version of this. Taylor was at Bentley when Andre, Notter' spartner, into Brics, and Bently took it into their Information Modeling Program for Buildings !! I haven't seen him '97, 98 but he was excellent then!
Welcome to the group Steven. Look forward to meeting.
Thre is a Autocad Revit "small business" webinar on the 20th. A little searching around should help in your search.
Good to see you are well and contining you interest in Information Modeling that Autodesk has carried the flame from Bently ( still the best product in many ways), Architrion. Archicad hinterlands.
The Broadcaste last night by remote was very good for the presentation, awlful fo rth followup
