Built-In: The Architecture and Entrepreneurship Meetup Message Board › Makerbot Innovator Sessions / Organizers

New York, NY
We've been pretty idle for a while now. Working on getting some events going, but in the mean time if you're looking for something to do tomorrow night, there's a great event hosted by Makerbot which has architect Sebastian Misiurek, co-founder of Simplus Design, Assistant Director of Digital Futures at Pratt Institute’s School of Architecture, and very own Built-In member, lecturing on the topic of 3D printing as a means for connecting ideas with the physical world.
The MakerBot Innovator Session is open to the public and visitors are invited to hear Misiurek speak about how 3D printing is revolutionizing the process of “making.” The lecture will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 19, 2014, at the New York City MakerBot Store, located at 298 Mulberry Street (between Bleeker and Houston Streets). Admission is free, but space is limited and pre-registration is required at www.makerbot.com/retail-store/events-newyork/.
Also, if anyone is interested in becoming an organizer for the group or be part of the core team to help out with future events, we will be having an informal meeting next Tuesday over beers to go over strategy and such. Reply or email me for details firstname.lastname@example.org
hope all is well,
