Hi Carrie, You were on the rsvp list as YES for the May hike. Glad you can make it to this one, it's going to be a much shorter hike than the one you were at and please note that we are meeting in a different place. Thanks and see you Saturday morning!

I was thinking Sunday you would enjoy all the activity going on and with so many incredible women doubles teams playing at AAA level-the top level. One idea that may motivate your hubby is to show him photos of the men or women playing at AA or AAA level. Angela plays 3-4 or more days a week and has a body that shows it. Nothing is wrong with married people watching people having fun playing a active sport. And many of us sit 20 feet from court for free. If he plays his attitude may change.
Hi Carrie, There must have been 50 or more womens AAA teams & AA 50 mens teams playing tournaments Sunday. It was windy and the sand was moist after it stopped raining around 10PM Saturday. And the view from Malibu to Palos Verdes was incredible. I met two girls teams from Guatemala and introduced them to locals they had fun playing. If you don't come down for a workout you never know what you miss. After 10 minutes of play most only wear bathing suits to not overheat in Winter. Charles
It wasn't raining when I left home Sunday. I didn't want to miss the ToastWriters 2PM meeting later in the day so I drove to the beach at 9AM and it stated raining around the 10 Freeway. I hoped since it seems to rain at OP Beach rarely I can practice my serves. But it rained so hard most of the day. With time to kill before 2PM I went to the Santa Monica Library & about 30 people were waiting for it to open 2 hours before opening. Libraries show movies 3-4 times a month for families.
Hey Carrie, Weather prediction is rain Sat/Sun but if not raining I normally go to beach since it rarely rains at Ocean Park Beach for some reason. If people don't show up I practice serves. Some games my serves makes up for our mistakes.
All of us have limits & some do better at athletics. Your welcome to join doing drills to help gain skills faster then by playing vb. But don't expect to have much ball control the first 3-5 weeks of class. Just laugh to make it fun. Did I send location info?
Hi Carrie, I turned key Sunday and car only clicked and didn't start. I missed going to beach to get a new battery for car. Will be there next Sunday unless it rains.
Hey Carrie, If not raining are you still joining vb class drills & play tomorrow? Prediction for rain is on Saturday. If not raining I plan to go since it rarely rains at OP to workout. Have only been rained out 2 times in 4 years. If cold it only takes about 10 minutes to warm up to take off coat & not need to wear more than sports clothes. A goal of class is so people find out we can play vb winter to summer. I notice you like museums -many in SoCal have free days or hours? Take Care Charles
Hi Carrie, I saw your email about teleplays. It's too late to call now will try to call after vb is over tomorrow or next week. I look forward to meeting. Charles
