Glad you could make it, Sofya. You and your son added the community to Community Garden! And, thanks for the seeds and peat pots - still plenty of both left - you should bring them to the seed swap on 3/3, 10-2, at Arlington Community Garden!

We had gardeners from age 1(Yuri) up to 89 (George) and a group of 7 law students there and it was a wonderful experience working alongside all of them. We got potatoes and quash in the ground , multiple herbs seeded, a plum tree ,a fig tree, and 6 blackberry bushes planted. the pacers made great progress lining up Jonathan and Christiana's bed and paving the eastern boarder of the garden and the entrance way between the new fences. Tom cleaned up and removed rocks , unusable soil, and twigs, and the garden is looking better all the time.George's high beds are now seeded and very mich appreciated.Thank you, Terry, for bringing out the potatoes. You are a gem. And Peggy, thank you for your continuing efforts and hard work. I don't know how this garden could survive without you.

The Florida Coastal School of Law Students were a delight to garden with-and they did a LOT of WORK! We made 3 new beds and planted potatoes in two, two kinds of squash in the 3rd. The students also planted seeds for herbs and we lunched together on garden salad, beets with anise and quinoa with cranberries and apples, thank you to Margit! Sofya and her baby son were there to help, and the crew paving are creating more beauty. We planted the plum - which is blooming - and I'll bet the fig tree, tho I had to leave before it was in the ground. We also pulled out some vegs that were finished, like some broccoli and the blooming mustards are hanging for seeds to collect. We got a lot done! It looked like rain, but the grey skies only made it cooler and pleasant - NICE DAY IN THE GARDEN!
