"[The law] is a jealous mistress, and requires a long and constant courtship. It is not to be won by trifling favors, but by lavish homage." Joseph Story (1779-1845)
The Nature of Our Profession
The Adversarial Nature. The Long Hours. The Billable Hours. The Partner Track. The Ethical Mine Fields. Yep, we sure understand. Our fun and informal networking, social events and study programs are designed to help cure what ails you and make the practice of law a little more enjoyable.
Your Practice Can Be More Enjoyable
Really! We have book discussion groups, guest speakers, happy hours and even yoga moves to teach you how... or at least help ease the pain. Our goal is to make the practice of law more enjoyable, more rewarding, and to recapture that 'One L' feeling of excitement about the law again that we had when we IRAC'd our very first cases and were happily idealistic about our chosen profession (not to mention relieved we actually got into law school in the first place).
Rekindle The Romance
Now we've passed a bar or two or three and some of us have gotten a bit jaded or just plain overworked. Bring your tired, sick of billable hours and 7 day workweek self to some meetings and rekindle your romance with the Jealous Mistress again.
Enjoyable and Efficient
You can feel good about maximizing your non-billable time in the most efficient way possible because some events are eligible for CE credit in Arizona for a fee through our sponsors.

The group is designed for lawyers; however, law students, arm-chair legal scholars, family and friends are also welcome at our events. Join today!
