Hi, I love to backpack! I am retired Military, go to school and Backpack. That's all.

What cool backpacking trips have you done recently?

Went to Standing Indian, NC two weeks ago, will be at the Hammock Hang in NC this weekend, Going to Yosemite 9-19 May, Doing Art Loeb June 17-21, several Balds inbetween. Heading to Grand CAnyon and hope to meet you guys, Yellow Stone is next.

What's your very favorite piece of gear?

Camelback, gotta have a steady flow of water!

Tell us about your backpacking experience?

Been doing it little over a year now, can't get enough!!

Hi Karen; I've been there, done that. Whitewater kayaking on the Chattooga River, riding my bicycle on the Swamp Rabbit Trail, hiking Table Rock, Paris Mountain, and Chattooga River corridor trails. Used to camp out along the Chattooga. I'd still like to do more great outdoors stuff while I'm still able to do it. Must remember to throw in a writing pad to record my inspirations. I'm a freelance writer.
