Earth-based Knowledge: Celebrating Life and Its Mysteries

On this Earth Day, we will talk about what we know from living on the earth and how the earth provides so much of our understanding of Creator, created and the relationships of all. We will talk about the nature of creation and our ability to live in balance feeling whole and holy.
Speaker: Rev. Debbie Royals
Debbie Royals is Pascua Yaqui from Tucson, AZ. She is currently serving as the Interim Director of the Indigenous Theological Training Institute, developing theological journals and relevant ministry development resources for Native American ministry. Debbie serves as a physical health faculty member for CREDO, a Clergy Wellness program of the Episcopal Church and has developed a successful ministry model based on the Sacred Circle. She is actively engaged in the Old Pascua community development especially as it pertains to traditional identity, knowledge and understanding. Debbie received her education from the University of Arizona, College of Nursing, a specialized degree from Prescott College and advanced degrees from Church Divinity School of the Pacific and the Graduate Theological Union. She has been published in several books and journals and continues to empower others to live life authentically, holistically, and spiritually.
A buffet dinner will be catered by Chef Sharon Eaker, including gluten-free and vegetarian selections.
