Mt. Hood: A Summit Story
June 18, 2103, club members Jeff Crosby, Scott Kuchman, and John Gray travelled to Oregon and made a successful summit of Mt. Hood. Mt. Hood is a glaciated peak standing 11,250 feet. Don't judge a mountain by it's height. This peak holds great challenge and is by no means an easy one to bag.
Jeff Crosby started climbing in 2010 when he joined AMC. Since then he has tackled new challenges and climbed to new heights. He is Avalanche 1 certified and is coordinating AMC's Alpine Seminar Series. He has climbed in Oregon, Washington, and Colorado.
Please join us for a wonderful program from one of our own, Jeff Crosby.
