Thanksgiving at J-Tree

We will have Thanksgiving Potluck at 0500 pm on Thursday after climbing. Bring your favorite Thanksgiving dish or two to share.  This is a family outing so feel free to bring anyone who wants to come along.

Camping in designated sites, up to 48 people, Indian Cove is at the Northernmost aspect of the park, hotels nearby for the meek.

Wednesday is travel & meetup, setup camp, boulder, climb, snooze, etc.

Thursday and Friday will feature club organized outings within walking distance from camp.

Of course, with 8000 climbs in the park, you can always bring your own leader or top-rope whatever looks good (it all looks good!)  Check out some of the guidebooks at REI, Hiking Shack, Amazon, the library, etc.

Saturday & Sunday are open for climbing, re-packing, finishing the leftovers!

Check this spreadsheet for food signup.  Just put your response in your RSVP answer.

JTree Peeps! I'm your friendly dinner coordinator!

Please confirm your attendance for our thanksgiving feast on Thursday at 5 pm AZT and let me know what you'll be sharing. Unfortunately we can't post our handy spreadsheet here--but when folks RSVP and tell what they're bringing, I can keep track. Current needs: drinks, mashed spuds, stuffing (meat and veggie), pies, coffee & fixins, firewood. Step up, my friends, or I shall have to hassle you individually...

Hi Everyone; Firewood is allways a short supply, if you can bring some, please do. ( you can also buy it a little sheaper from the house close by the campground entrance ).
To heat your dish for potluck , we recommend bringing your largest portable cambing stoves and those large aluminium food pasting pans. THX, can't wait to see you all there.
