RED ROCKS CLIMBING!!!

Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area offers everything a climber could possibly dream of. From difficult, but incredibly fun bolt edge pulling sport routes, to clean, traditional long lines in the Canyons, to day long multi-pitch adventures. Red Rocks has everything. The rock is mostly bullet hard Aztec sandstone. Red Rocks has something for everyone, from beginner to expert, sport and trad climber. With thousands of established and still unclaimed routes, there are multiple lifetimes worth of climbing to be done. Come learn about it from someone who's been loving climbing there for almost 20 years, Xavier Wasiak.

Xavier is a 36 year resident of Las Vegas, Nevada. He enjoys climbing his home crag of Red Rocks best, but has also climbed for many years at neighboring areas including the Sierra Nevadas, Needles of California, Tuolomne Meadows, Indian Creek, City of Rocks, and others. The adventure of climbing is what Xavier values the most and hopes to enjoy for as long as his limbs will let him.

Xavier will share images and memories of some of the longer adventure routes at Red Rocks, as well as impart some history and stories of this wild and still developing world climbing destination. He will also discuss some of the issues facing climbing at Red Rocks and how they are being managed to ensure continued access to the area.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
