Entomological Forensics

Morning Speaker:

Dr. Goggy Davidowitz - UA Dept of Entomology, speaks on Forensic Entomology - how insects are used to determine the cause of and time of death, and how that evidence stands up in court. Not Hollywood CSI, this is the real deal.

Afternoon Writing Workshop:
Instead of the writing workshop, we'll have a panel discussion with three writers from the board, describing how they experience the writing process, and what they've learned about publishing. Lively audience participation is anticipated. Think about how you get your writing done and share it with other writers.

Join us, the second Saturday of each month, September through May, at El Parador Restaurant 2744 East Broadway Blvd. (East of Tucson Blvd), 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, for fascinating speakers and learning the craft of writing mystery. $20 non-members and walk-ins includes lunch; $15 RSVP’d members. $10 for one session, morning or afternoon, no lunch. Make your reservation by noon Wednesday before the meeting, at or email [masked] or call Gail Gibbs at[masked]-2837. See you there!

I really am sorry I missed today I just got back from California and my back hurts, I would love to attend other events, unfortunately I belong to another group that is meeting the same day as the 12 of January. I am planning on coming in February

Highly informative for mystery writers. Never thought I'd enjoy a lunch while looking at pictures of maggots, but I did.
