We're down to the last tickets so make sure to get registered -

This is going to be the biggest WordCamp that has gone on, we're putting a LOT of time into speakers and the events surrounding WCphx and obviously day-of events and afterparty. Lots of big names and serious WordPress people coming in from around, not only the country, but England and New Zealand and Canada. A handful of the core developers on WordPress will also be there as well as helping at the Genius Bar.

NameCheap is going to be there helping you with transfers and registering new domains, with hosting and all that.
Microsoft is going to be there helping out with general issues and showing their progress with using WordPress in Windows hosting environments.
Cox Communications is there, theme developers, theme designers, local designers and developers (people you should hire to build your stuff or ask questions of).... I could go on.

Be there or be ... uninformed :)

So this has officially been in planning since March and a bunch of people are getting jumpy as of late so I'm just going to come out with some basic information to hold you over for now.

There have been a LOT of scheduling conflicts and big stuff changing in regard to WordPress and the new Foundation they've created and our WordCamp 'time slot' in the year in regard to New York and Boston WordCamps so we've figured that all out over the summer and we're basically holding ours now in January of 2011. The 29th is the firm date on that but we're already planning a bunch of smaller events around that date as well relating to WordPress and WordCamp so be prepared for those as well.

I'll have a LOT more info up on the site in the next couple of weeks as we're finalizing the new design & layout and currently building that on my dev server now.

I'm super stoked about the food this year too... can't say yet but you'll find out soon enough :)

Feel free to ask any questions but the main event stuff you'll learn about soon enough.
