I have been writing for years. I worked in PR at UCLA, as an advertising agency copywriter (Easy as Dell and Have You Called Jenny Yet? are my taglines), I worked four years for Yahoo! Search Marketing and have written for many divisions of Disney. I started writing fiction a couple of years ago.
I have written one novel. I'm counting on a little peer pressure to kick me into gear on my second one.
For two years, I was a member of the Pasadena Fiction Writer's Group. We worked in the same manner that you do, sharing and critiquing manuscripts before the meeting. I found it very helpful to receive other's impressions and suggestions. It also kept me writing because members were eager to hear what was going to happen next.
Commercial women's fiction.
I have fallen off the wagon. I am currently editing a series of interviews of designers who have founded tech companies (DesignerFounders.com), and working with the interior design-focused startup, (RestyleSource.com). Those two projects have kept me very, very busy. However, I am almost done with the book project so my schedule will be opening up. I like to write early in the morning when I am sharpest.
Hello ANWW, thank you for giving me the opportunity to join your group. I look forward to meeting you.
