Dear members, As you know we have an amazing group with amazing people but it has come to my attention that we also have some bad behavior in the group and it will need to stop. We have several members with children and in the past few meet-up events it has not been children friendly and for this you have my apologues.
This group is a family friendly group so if you plan on attending any future events here are the new guidelines,
1, Drinking is allowed but limited. If you drink to the point you are drunk you will be warned and if the behavior continuous you will be removed from the group.
2, This is not a singles group, it is an outdoor group. If you are looking for a HOOK-UP please go to another group.
3, Respect, please be respectful of other people.
4, Respect yourself, We have had several complaints about women in this group trying to hit on other women's guys, This too stops today. We have lost some great friendships and retaliations lately due to people in the group flirting with people who are taken and taken people flirting with single people.. RESPECT the limits people.
5. Clean-up. If you use another persons things, ie: camp stove ext, Please respect the other person enough to clean-up after yourself.
6. Bring what you need to outing, Do not show-up and expect someone else to take care of you. If you forget something or need help we will all be there for you in any way we can. But again this too is getting out of hand.
7, Smoking, If this is something you need to do again be respectful, At the party the other night at Mark's home, someone was flicking ashes everywhere and then put the butts in to his food dishes. That was not cool.
So with these new guidelines in place I hope that we can go back to the great family friendly group that we were just a short time ago and please

Sorry you had to even write these but I see myself in some of them too!

Thanks for being honest and quick because I know we all want to be respectful of others.

I want to add that when children are in the camp, moms don't be afraid to say "hey! watch yourselves my kids are here!" because I know we get carried away with our stories and talking and I appologize for that myself.

Good rules , should be common sense . too bad some folks apparently cant handle their hootch .............I have a GF and do just fine on my own in that respect , I joined for the hikes and camping not a social life . the only issues I would have in a camping situation would be pets , I 'm not fond of dogs , and would hope that the respect of other people should also be expanded to the conduct of their animals . Just sayin

true that...and thank you Marsha for having such a wonderful group for us to partake in, Kathleen and You have worked really hard to have such a great group of individuals that have similar interest....:) and that those interest are much deeper than the normal topic around the bars, if you want a bar for a hook up or other interest there are plenty between the phoenix and showlow area if you want fun, great food and awesome conversation come here :)
