RECOMMENDED ITEMS TO BRING FOR FLOATING:

lead expert - rope with detactable hook device (to quickly retrive lost items in water from tipped over floaters)

Quick dry clothing over swim suit (examples fleece, wool, etc.) - not cotton

DRY BAG !!! with extra clothes, small towel, snacks, preferred beverage(s), sunblock, hiking shoes, necessary toiletries (can place items in additional zip lock bags (some dry bags work better than others)

    Water shoes / velcro sandles

    mesh trash bag(s)

Lifejacket (included with rentals), whistles and safety helmet "optional"

One or more first aid kits

Optional - electronics in dry bag (risky) - can get additional waterproof containers, hat, sunglasses, "stream machine" (used to drain out water) LINK: http://streammachine.com/TL-600.html

Canoes can hold small igloos with bungee cords

FYI: Lost Valley Caneo - rental sit-in kayaks did not have skirts and could collect a lot of water on larger rapids which makes it unstable and easier to turn over

What is everyone's plan since Friday we may get washed away? Are people still camping Friday night. It's a long drive there so I'm alittle worried.

What time will we start on Saturday? I can probably only stay one night so I'm trying to decide if before the float or after would be better.
