The Arlington Connections group grew from the Washington DC Connections group I run on LinkedIn. Currently we have almost 15k members in that group. I thought it would be smart and beneficial to break down the huge group into geographic clusters so we can really get to know our community and find benefits directly where we live or work. This focused approach should allow for us to build a community that will help each other benefit. This is a business focused group but I want to have fun as well. With that in mind the core will be focused on building business relationships so we can all accomplish our goals. The fun part about business for me is getting to know people so I do want to incorporate social events. I need your help. I realize I cannot build this group on my own. This group is not about me or any one person. I would like to have a collaboration and build a community we all benefit from. If you are interested in taking on a role please let me know. Clearly this is a new group so we do need more members. More members provide all of us with more benefits. We also need help setting up monthly events. Once we set up the events we need help promoting them so they can be successful. Thank you for joining and I look forward to growing with all of you!
