Hello! This is for new moms or moms in general. The new year is here and we should challenge ourselves! Do you have a little bit of weight to lose? We can motivate each other to lose weight! Of course, what fun is the biggest loser challenge without incentive? Well, it will cost each person participating $5 to start. Each week, we will meet at a location to weigh in (or you can schedule a time with me, come over to weigh in.) If you lose weight or maintained the same weight, you don't have to add money to the pot. If you gained any weight, it'll cost $1 a pound and it goes in the pot. The challenge will last 12 weeks. At the end, whoever loses the highest percentage of weight will win the pot. (percentage, not pounds) Let me know if you gals are interested!
Good job Kerri! After 8 months, I still have 10 lbs. of pregnancy weight to lose (and then the 10 lbs. I wanted to lose before I was pregnant, ha ha). I work FT, so walks for me would have to be evenings or weekends. Perhaps there could be a couple walks a week to accommodate different schedules?
Let set up a date! I'm also working FT so evenings and weekends will be the best. Sorry, I'm not receiving notification on this thread for some reason. The biggest challenge is to have everyone weigh in.

I changed the date and time from Monday, March 12, 2012 at 7:00 PM to Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at 7:00 PM

Hello!!! Please let me know what is the hardest part for you to jumpstart this biggest loser challenge! Each week when we meet I would like to pass out articles to keep us motivated in losing weight. Please give me some ideas! :)
I would be up for this (esp. if it include weekly walks with the babies), though I'm worried because I already lost all my baby weight and I don't know how hard it will be to lose more. I want to get down to where I was when I first met my husband though, so that means another 15 pounds!
Perhaps we can find some good indoor locations to do stroller walks when the weather is bad, and use the bike path when the weather is nice?
