Arlington Heights Autism Parent Group

We have a three year old boy with autism. The past one year has been very emotional and eventful. As parents of autistic children, we struggle with the same things: therapy, school, social interaction, life balance, stress coping, etc. Let's have a meetup group so the kids can play together and the parents can share. We are looking forward to meeting with you and your precious little one.

"HI I'm Meg! I am a stay at home mom to two kids! A 4 year old girl and a 2 year old boy! My son who is 2 had an evaluation for autism. Since he is so young they couldnt make an actual diagnosys but he is showing signs that cannot be ignored."

"I have 2 boys, ages 6 and 4. My older son has high-functioning autism and, while my younger son appears to be NT, he definitely has his own set of issues. We are currently in Lake Zurich but are hoping to move to Mount Prospect soon!"

"Hi, our son Robert John (RJ) was diagnosed at 2 1/2, he goes to pre-school, speech, Have Dreams in Park Ridge twice a week, ABA, OT, and horse riding. He also has some sensory issue and is non verbal. Our little guy is so happy and loving."

"Mom of 5. My three year old has speech and developmental delays. My 9 yr old is high functioning. I was a co-leader of the Lombard area ASD meetup. Since moving to this area I'm looking for similar support."
