Introduction

I am a Certified Public Accountant who helps small businesses earn more profits while paying less in taxes. I work mostly on a flat-fee approach so that businesses know what to expect and can budget for it.

What do you hope to gain from being a member of this group?

I hope to learn better techniques for marketing my practice so that it will grow.

In this group we share best practices and pool our resources together to help each other promote our businesses. This is not "all about me" but rather "all about our community". How does this approach to marketing fit with you?

It fits with me as I believe in a team approach. I have worked with numerous businesses in a variety of industries, so I feel that I can offer different prespectives. My personality has also changed over the years, so I have learned that different marketing schemes work for different people.

Say, for example, we want to pool our resources for a new marketing initiative, but one of our members has less resources than you. Would you be ok doing a little more to help that company?

We like to give back to our community through service projects. We'll get together quarterly - or sooner if need permits - and work together in the community. What are your thoughts on doing this?
