Introduction

My name is Wanda Hazleton and I'm a Certified Consulting Hypnotist. I have a private practice in SE Arlington and office out of my home. I can help with numerous issues such as tobacco usage, weight management, fears and phobia's, stress etc. etc.

What do you hope to gain from being a member of this group?

I enjoy networking and referring my clients to others who can meet their needs in a different way and with different things than I can. Whatever their needs are, I like to have first hand knowledge of someone that can help them. My personal goal this year is to grow my practice by expanding my knowledge and making myself and my services more known to our local community business owners.

In this group we share best practices and pool our resources together to help each other promote our businesses. This is not "all about me" but rather "all about our community". How does this approach to marketing fit with you?

I'm good with that. I extend a discount to military and their families. It's especially hard for our men and women to re-adjust to civilian life when they are returning from a war zone. I also offer free sessions for those who have been diagnosed with cancer. Hypnosis sessions can help them alleviate the side effects of the necessary chemo and radiation treatments, making their journey back to wellness a little easier.

Say, for example, we want to pool our resources for a new marketing initiative, but one of our members has less resources than you. Would you be ok doing a little more to help that company?

Yes, if I have the extra funds available to do so.

We like to give back to our community through service projects. We'll get together quarterly - or sooner if need permits - and work together in the community. What are your thoughts on doing this?

I'd love to be more directly involved with community projects.
