Full-stack testing done well

Selenium isn't evil, it's just misunderstood.

And when it's used as part of a thoughtful approach to software quality it can even provide useful, timely, and -dare I say- speedy results.

Join Dave Haeffner in a joint-session with the DC Selenium meetup as he steps through how to do full-stack testing well with Ruby, Selenium, and a little bit of magic.

Well I was initially caught off guard once I determined that we'd be looking at absolutely 0 lines of code, but it turned out to be an informative event headed by a swift and witty speaker. I guess as devs we expect to see code demoed, but that's not always the case. It's really not as bad as you think, and I had no problem with this approach. More of a high level discussion and I echo my previous sentiment in that it was very informative and soundly delivered.

    A ton of pizza!!

Dave's talk was so good it more than made up for the broken promise of free beer. And I love free beer.

I laughed, I cried, and I ate a lot of pizza.

It was my first time to attend the meeting. I think Dave gave a great presentation. I also learned a lot from the discussions among the attendees.
