Why are you interested in Ruby?

To be honest, I was really turned on to it by 37 Signals. I use Basecamp (and the rest of their suite) pretty regularly and have just been very impressed with what they've put together.

I recently realized that I really miss programming and decided I'd pick up Ruby on Rails this time around. I was a PHP guy the last time around (about a decade ago) and so far really appreciate the clean simplicity of Ruby. I'm eager to learn more.
