Senior Developer Needed for Profitable Renewable Energy Startup

Mike G.
Arlington, VA
Post #: 3
Hey everyone,

My company, Sol Systems, is looking for a talented senior software engineer to help us grow! Our ad is below; please shoot me an email at mike at solsystemscompany dot com if you have any questions.

We're Sol Systems, a young, rapidly growing, and highly profitable company that has already had a significant impact in renewable energy finance, and we're looking for a talented, mid- to senior-level software engineer to help us continue to shape the industry. The ideal candidate would be a software development generalist who is comfortable working to develop both back-end infrastructure using Ruby, Rails 3.x and PostgreSQL and front-end code using Javascript and HTML5. Candidates would work with our in-house team to maintain our renewable energy investment platform, SolMarket (, maintain our in-house business process management application, and help develop new applications and infrastructure to support our continued growth. In addition to health benefits, profit sharing plans, and frequent company adventures (ropes courses, river tubing, and volunteering), the chosen developer will learn the ins and outs of solar finance strategies, renewable energy legislation, and financial market modeling. Sound enticing? To apply, please email your resume and a code sample to mike at solsystemscompany dot com.

We're driven, we're smart, we're profitable, and we're hiring. Come help us change the world.
