TCG is an award-winning, e-Government and e-Business solutions provider.​ We're seeking a top-notch DC-area RUBY ON RAILS ENGINEER to join our project team, working on a high-profile project with a major Federal government agency.​ US citizenship is required.


The Ruby on Rails Engineer should be able to design, develop and/or re-engineer highly complex application components, and integrate software packages, programs and reusable objects residing on multiple platforms.


  • US citizenship and the ability to pass an 85-P Trusted Person background check

  • 1-3 years hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails

  • Experience with moderately complex SQL queries, and how to optimize SQL for performance
  • Working knowledge of Linux
  • Working knowledge of Apache Fusion/Passenger
  • Working knowledge of git or another Distributed Version Control System
  • Experience with and commitment to the Agile programming paradigm
  • Experience working closely with clients in the business domain
