Upcoming Erlang Conference

Jim G.
Group Organizer
Arlington, VA
Post #: 4
The Erlang groups of DC is organizing their second conference to be held at the Microsoft offices in Reston on February 9th, 2013. Last year, a few members of this group have attended and the conference was an overall success.

The conference will start with a bootcamp called 'Erlang Essentials': it will be a hands on 3 hour training on Erlang administered by Eric Merritt, author of the book "Erlang and OTP in Action". After the bootcamp, there will be a series of 30 minutes talks on Erlang ranging from beginner to more advanced topics. It's a great way to learn a lot about Erlang in one day, at a very good price: $50 for early bird tickets.

They are currently still receiving talk proposals, so if you have experience in Erlang, you can also submit a talk proposal.
