We welcome single parents from all over the metroplex (not just Arlington).

ASP is a group of single parents, and their children, who get together for lots of fun, laughter, and good company. We focus on family oriented events (i.e. potlucks, game nights, bowling, rock climbing, air shows, holiday parties, movies, kid's workshops, water sports, zoo, playgrounds, camping, etc.) You can talk with other single parents who share your same challenges, share advice, form new friendships, new playmates for the kids, and the list goes on. This is a wonderful way for you and your child(ren) to meet new people, and in the process, make lasting friendships.

This is NOT a dating service of any kind. If you are looking for this type of meetup, check Meetup.com, I'm sure there are some listed. We are here to make friends and help support each other. This is our main goal, if anything else comes out of the meetup, that's great, but that should not be the main goal of becoming a member.

The purpose of this group is to offer organized events to parents and their children. This group is for parents to socialize, while the focus is on safely exposing our children to adventures around the metroplex. We are here to make it easier for single parents and their children to get to know each other. If you like having fun, bonding with your children as they find their life unfolding before your eyes, and meeting parents who also share a love of life, then this is the place for you.
