No, currently using Pimsler's Method as a base to learn the basics, Rosetta Stone for more vocabulary and a podcast called Popup Chinese to be able to understand at least a little bit of more common speech. Asking friends helps out too, but I don't always want to ask about it when hanging out, I can imagine it being a little bit annoying to them if I did.
Nope, not yet
I'm pretty much ignorant in regards to this =/ Sadly all I know about is CCTV, PPS (an internet site that shows videos and news)
Usually on weekends
Learning, eating and meeting new people. Also, physical activities would't be so bad :P Mostly in terms of learning the language I'd really like to be able to listen and speak a little bit, and just get some general interaction (computer/ipod courses can do only so much)
Hi, I'm relatively new to the area and have been introduced into the Chinese language and culture by friends. Love the food, and am eager to learn more about the culture and language (as a third language).
