Welcome to Arlington, DC Hiking Group! This meet-up group is for people who like to hike and get outdoors. Our hikes have evolved over the last 2 months. While we do a good number of moderate and easy hikes, we have begun including more strenuous hikes each month. This gives hikers a great opportunity to get to know the group and advance in skill and ability.

As the hike leader enjoys long hikes, you can be sure that the easy hikes will be 5+ miles in distance. Welcome to the group, we hope you will join us on some of our hikes, share ideas with the group and leave honest feedback on hikes you attended.

This group is committed to practicing ‘Leave No Trace Hiking’ while giving its members a chance to make new friends, enjoy the outdoors and get an early morning workout. We will schedule hikes on Sunday mornings (some Saturdays) and hike rain or shine. We also try and keep the hikes close to the 75 miles from DC radius for an easy commute. 

As with all Meetups, we are always open to member feedback and ideas.
