Arlington Jaycees 'Party with a Purpose' in support of Arlington Free Clinic!

Come on down to Whitlow's on Wilson for the Arlington Jaycees "Party with a Purpose" in support of Arlington Free Clinic.

Representatives from AFC will be on site to engage members about the Organization, how you can be supportive and volunteer opportunities going forward. AFC is looking to engage the Young Professional community and educate them about their efforts!

Arlington Free Clinic (AFC) is an award-winning nonprofit organization that provides free high quality medical care for low-income uninsured adult residents of Arlington County. Since 1994, we have been filling the gap in access to healthcare for our community’s most vulnerable residents. We continue to be Arlington’s only free medical safety net for adults. Our comprehensive services are provided through the generosity of private donors, strong community partnerships and loyal volunteers who are committed to making a positive change. AFC’s medical programs consist of primary and specialty care, including treatment for chronic diseases; women’s health; mental health; physical therapy; nutrition education and pharmacy. Patients access free diagnostics through community partners including Virginia Hospital Center (VHC) and local medical practices. Last year, our team of 580 volunteers, including 170 physicians, provided over 10,000 patient visits. Demand for AFC’s services continues to exceed our capacity to provide care. Since 2009, it has been typical for over 120 people to come to our monthly new patient lotteries where 20-25 new patients are randomly selected. We continue to automatically accept 20-25 patients/month referred by Virginia Hospital Center and shelters. These are typically our sickest patients, including those with heart disease, cancer and uncontrolled diabetes.

We look forward to seeing you at the event!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
