In the Nyingma Buddhist tradition Tsog 'Khorlo (Gana Puja) is practised twice a month on the 10th and 25th days of the lunar month. This is a practice of celebration, renewal and sharing. Practitioners come together to share food and enjoy each others company, and practice the seed syllable tsog 'khorlo. Through this practice we let go of disagreements and interpersonal problems, renew any vows that we hold, reassert our practice intention, and celebrate the cheerful company of others. Everything and everybody everywhere benefits from tsog 'khorlo practice.

To attend the practice of tsog 'khorlo it is necessary to partake of a tiny piece of meat and half a teaspoon of alcohol - this is an essential aspect of the practice. Even monks and nuns, vegetarians and tee totallers celebrating tsog 'khorlo ingest this token of meat and alcohol to represent overcoming the pure/impure dichotomy.

Copies of the tsog 'khorlo text will be provided. Please bring food to share. Please telephone if you have any questions: 07092 010756
