Starz International Film Festival ~ Poland

In Hiding

     ~

What begins as a typical World War II movie becomes a tense Hitchcockian thriller. With the Germans invading Poland, a photographer hides a young Jewish woman in the basement, much to his daughter’s consternation. After his arrest, the women form an increasingly obsessive and intimate bond

Ester, who left a lover when the occupation began, starts to rebel against her confinement. But Janka will go to any lengths to keep Ester near her. Things start to crumble as neighbors begin to wonder about the loud noises in Janka’s apartment. And then people begin to “disappear.”

If you're interested in this movie, don't wait to sign up! Tickets for the Starz Film Festival often sell out long before the day of the show!

I was able to purchase advance tickets for this film. Since I’ve already paid for the all tickets, there is a payment required at time of RSVP for this event. The movies at the Starz Film Festival often sell out way ahead of time, so you would need to buy tickets in advance anyway. If everyone bought tickets online, we would each have to pay an additional $4 transaction fee. This way, we bypass that fee, and nobody has to make a special trip down to the theater to pick up a ticket ahead of time.

    Another thought provoking slice of life. To look at things from a perspective that you could never imagine is a way to dig deep and wonder about life when it is not in your control.

    Sorry. I slept all day to find out I forgot to actually change my RSVP to NO. It's late, but it has been corrected.

    Hi again Jennifer;
    My war with this virus is not yet over. I can't go tonight in good conscience. It's not right for me (haven't been up that late all week) and coughing is bad on the others and ruins the movie. I kept getting better, but then relapsed this AM. Lets turn my bad luck into someone's good fortune. Please give my ticket away to the next person on the "want a spot" list. Sorry about the late notice (guess that's the downside to hope). I should've quit sooner. Have fun all. This sounds fantastic. ... Tim Frees

    Hey Jennifer, I,ve had something come up and will be unable to go tonight (Poland). If you have someone who wants to go, just give him/her the ticket. Enjoy the movie!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
