Tell us something about your experience with other cultures, travelling, or where you would like to go.

I've had a lifelong love of culture, countries, and language, including years of study, living in Spain, and working in Germany. I'm currently learning Argentine Tango, and rehabilitating my Spanish so I can study in Buenos Aires.

Do you speak other languages? If so, which languages do you speak? Are you interested in learning a new language? Which one?

I'm more or less fluent in Spanish, get by in German, can read Ancient Greek, and am trying to learn the basics Russian along with my daughter who is passionate about all things Russia and wants to travel there.

Is there something you can contribute to the group? Knowledge about a particular culture, place to host events, something else? (Most needed: people to host in their homes, or clubhouse if you have one... events like pot-lucks, movies, etc.)

I'm very much a part of the local Argentine Tango community, and know most of the instructors and occasionally work as an assistant; I'm also connected to various local international groups; and I know of many venues around town suitable for dances and other events.

Introduction

I'm a lifelong internationalist and world traveler, and social dancer, currently focused on Spanish, Tango and Argentina; but also pursuing interests in Russian culture and language along with my teenage daughter.
