The Irish Breakfast Judi had on vacation in Ireland sounded so scrumptious, it inspired her to host an one for us. And it's become an annual event. What better time than MARCH when we’re all a WEE BIT IRISH!
Check out the photos from 2010 HERE and 2011 HERE.
IRISH BREAKFAST FOODS
The traditional Irish breakfast is an impressive showing of foodie culture in Ireland. The exact contents of a Full Irish Breakfast vary by region. The most common ingredients are fried eggs, Irish bacon, sausages, white pudding, black pudding, toast, sautéed sliced tomatoes, grilled/sautéed mushrooms, fried bread and fried potatoes. Baked beans and brown Irish soda bread are sometimes included also. A Full Irish Breakfast may be accompanied with a strong Irish Breakfast tea such as Barry's Tea, Lyons Tea, or Bewley’s breakfast blend served with milk. Oh yeah, adult beverages work well too!
Our Irish Breakfast will be pot-luck style, so please indicate in your RSVP what Irish food (or it’s American counterpart) you’ll be sharing. EAT HEARTY LADS AND LASSIES.
ADDRESS & RSVPS
As with all events in member's homes, Judi's address will be emailed one day in advance ONLY to YES RSVPs (Active Members) we have met. You know who you are! It's a safety thing, thanks for understanding.
