Let's celebrate Cinco de Mayo by learning to make tamales. Come join us to learn how to prepare a tasty traditional Mexican staple -tamales! Class will be taught by owner of Lulu's Tamales (DFW Tamales). Guys and gals welcome.
In Mexico, tamales are a celebration food. But eating tamales is only part of the fun, making them is a celebration in and of itself. It’s a social occasion, an excuse to bring family and friends together and spend the day in the kitchen. These party-like gatherings, known as tamaladas, always result in a huge batch of delicious, steaming hot tamales.
WHAT TO BRING

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
Class will include instruction, recipes and all ingredients to prepare your very own tamales. Feel free to bring your bottle of wine and your chef hat or apron for a fun afternoon. Lulu will choose the flavor! And YES, you can order more @$12/dz from Lulu for future delivery! (She delivers them to you, how cool is that!)
Address is emailed one day in advance to Active Members who RSVP Yes to this event. Since this event is held in a private home, the address will only be emailed to Active Members (that's about 700 of ya'll). This means folks who we have met when they attended an event in a public venue. We don't email out personal addresses to strangers. It's a safety thing, thanks for understanding. Please keep your RSVP current so Lulu knows how much tamale making stuff she needs to bring! Thanks!
