Have you ever had a garden or grown something to eat before?

I've been growing vegetables and flowers on my balcony on the mainland for a few years but Hawaii is a whole different story.

What positive/negative experiences have you had with gardening?

It feels good to walk out and pick a salad for dinner. Alternatively, it's a lot of hard work and can get expensive.

What would you like to learn about food gardening ?

Currently where I live has no direct sun so I would like to learn what the best shade plants are.

What skills might you share with others?

Introduction

I've lived in Kailua for a year and a half and like getting out to the farmer's markets and events life these.
