Didn't manage to find any other Meetup attendees there. Perhaps we all need badges of some kind?

The event was much as I had expected, with plenty of student involvement. Rather like a 'makers fair'. Lots of individual presentations and stands explaining or interacting with different topics. Aimed at those young-of-heart and in a playful mood. Certainly there were many children being kept busy or running between interests.

Plenty of discussions and idea exchanges going on too.

Looked as though it was successful. A nice, informal way of spending a few hours, introducing yourself to new topics or following up on current interests. Interesting to hear confirmation that so much of the research done at this (and other UK Unis) is so dependent on external funding, without which it just stops. But it raises the question of what happens to UK.co when it has all stopped?

About to go into the improvisation workshop if anyone is interested. Let me know if anyone wants to convene to a pub after.

I'm by the entrance inside with a sign. I'm wearing a red coat and a silver rucksack. I'll wait her for 10mins. It is a small place so should find each other.

I love this event - great find! Unfortunately, I'm going to a music gig that night, but still I'll probably drop by at 17h to check it out. Kam, would you be willing to host this meetup?

      I'd be happy to host.
