Dear Meetup Friends,

My dear friend, Dave Flynn, is having a solo show of his
art work on Friday, January 9, 2009 at Imagebox in the Garfield neighborhood of Pittsburgh. (Next door to Garfield Artworks.) There is plenty of street parking nearby.

Some of you have seen Dave's work before, so come and see what's new! And if you haven't been to one of his shows yet, now is your chance! Also--if you've been to one of my parties or the recent All Holidays Dinner Party, then you saw 3 of Dave's paintings hanging in my kitchen, and one in my living room!

I will be bringing some banana chocolate chip bread, and Imagebox is providing some wine, beer and munchies. But, feel free to BYOB if you have something special that you'd prefer to drink. (Or have something stashed in your car, in case they run out! LOL.)

Live acoustic rock music will be provided by Bob Wagner, Dan Wasson, and Dave Lossi. I've know these guys for 25 years, and I can tell you that they are wonderful and talented musicians!

ART, MUSIC, FREE WINE, BEER & MUNCHIES, and NO COVER CHARGE?! Sounds like a great way to start a Friday night in my book. And I'm sure we'll go somewhere else after this event is over. We'll just see what the group wants to do, and play it by ear. I look forward to seeing you there!
