Foreign MOVIE: Habemus Papam (We have a Pope) N. Moretti 2011

Acclaimed Italian movie director Nanni Moretti came out in 2011 with a movie entitled "We have a Pope" not knowing that in a year, that would become a reality. Nanni Moretti gives us his own version of what happens during a Pope election and give us a Pope that is very human, with fears, doubts and a great sense of humor and imagination. (IN ITALIAN WITH ENGLISH SUBTITLES)

    Excellent movie, it brought tears to my eyes. The cardinals and pope were portrayed as real people with real feelings..very touching movie.

    After watching the trailer, and reading some reviews, a have changed my mind on seeing this movie. I am tired of everybody giving their “own version” of everything, no matter how sacred the thing and how off-beat the version. I can't go along with the current confusion about whom to trust and what to believe. I can't countenance taking stupid things seriously or serious thinks lightly. I mean, would anyone feel comfortable with a comedy like this about the inauguration of the president? Then …
