"Lady Windermere's Fan" with free Joe Mama's pizza happy hour & ticket discount

Newly re-conceived by director Alan Stanford, Oscar Wilde’s comic masterpiece time-travels to the 1940’s, where the consequences for breaking the rules of high society are still considerable.

Tongues wag when the tarnished Mrs. Erlynne returns to town, but it’s Lady Windermere who is most scandalized: she suspects her new husband of having an affair with this woman of ill-repute. When she decides to strike back at him with her own unfaithfulness, an unlikely rescuer saves her from the deed and its damage to her reputation.

SPECIAL DISCOUNT FOR MEETUP: $26/ticket (INCLUDES FEE) which is nearly 50% off saving as compared to the normal $48 ticket price. Use code PICTMEET when purchasing your tickets online at www.picttheatre.org

Meetup are also invited to gather at Joe Mama's (3716 Forbes Avenue, which is just 2 blocks from the theater) for a special happy hour with free pizza beginning at 5:30 PM. We'll mingle with fellow theatre-lovers and walk over to The Charity Randall Theatre (inside the Stephen Foster Memorial) for the play.

We will also have the option to meet for a drink after the performance.

Check out these great articles about "Lady Windermere's Fan" which runs from July 11-July 27.

Hi, everyone, thanks for coming to see the show and for stopping by to mingle and eat at Joe Mama's. I'd love to hear from anyone who'd like to let me know how you enjoyed the show and the mixer at Joe Mama's. [masked]

I wasn't able to make it to Jo Mammas ahead of time; however I greatly enjoyed the show. I had a great seat..1st row, end seat. The play was fantastic.

Hope everyone is looking forward to tonight's play. As a reminder, the play begins at 7 PM ... but we'll also be meeting before the show for a free pizza happy hour at the nearby Joe Mama's (3716 Forbes Avenue, which is just a couple blocks from the theater inside the Stephen Foster Memorial in front of the Cathedral of Learning)

Because people get out of work at different times or have different travel distances to Oakland, we can try to plan to meet at Joe Mama's around 6 PM ... although people are welcome to show up a little earlier beginning at 5:30 PM. If you haven't bought your tickets, you can go online and use the promotion code PICTMEET for the discount

I work in Oakland, so I can be at Joe Mama's at any time. Is there anywhere in particular that the group will be meeting in the restaurant?

If you get there early, just ask the Joe Mama's staff where they will be setting up for the Pittsburgh Irish & Classical Theatre pre-show pizza. In the past, they have done it in the front dining area of the restaurant.
