A Lyrical Christmas Carol (December 19-22)

Dickens’ magical tale of Scrooge, Ghosts, Tiny Tim and the Cratchit family returns this holiday by popular demand.

This classic tale of redemption was created in 1991 by Ken and Jane Gargaro, and has become one of our region's annual holiday favorites presented by Pittsburgh Musical Theater.

This heartwarming show brims with holiday spirit. Seasonal carols and the music of Bach, Mozart, and Vaughn Williams provide a tuneful framework for this production which Post-Gazette theater critic Chris Rawson has deemed “child-friendly and fun.”

You can just buy at the door, but I would recommend going a little earlier since these shows sell very well. You can also call (412)[masked] x232 to get an idea of whether the Sunday show is close to a sell out or whether the show will be General Admission (where people who arrive a bit earlier get better seats) or assigned seating.

I urge everyone to go. I've seen it before and my 2 granddaughters are performing in it but I can only go on Friday this year. It is a wonderful show.
