Are you willing to be part of a group where we watch out for each other? Some people are tempted to go off on their own but this is not acceptable because we've wasted time waiting or searching for them. A clear photo of yourself is required.
It is strong as long as I know I'm physically and legal safe.
Can you remain calm in a dark abandoned building? Are you fit enough to run with the group and walk along uneven surfaces if the terrain requires it? If not, you shouldn't join this group.
Broken down, deserted buildings. Places that still have evidence of the people who lived/worked there is especially interesting.
Are you willing to sign a liability release waiver? Not that we do risky meetups but because the areas require alertness and caution. Yes or No.
I'd been going out regularly for a few months and done some star trail photography. Have also started experimenting with light painting and longer exposures to show movement.

A meetup consist of a field shoot and "social" where we relax at an eatery to show a few of our recent photos. Not a critique but to learn from each others efforts and get in the practice of talking "photography". Comment?
