Are you willing to be part of a group where we watch out for each other? Some people are tempted to go off on their own but this is not acceptable because we've wasted time waiting or searching for them. A clear photo of yourself is required.

Very adventurous.

Can you remain calm in a dark abandoned building? Are you fit enough to run with the group and walk along uneven surfaces if the terrain requires it? If not, you shouldn't join this group.

Owens Valley-Eastern Sierras, SF waterfront, Marin Headlands, Western Marin, decommissioned military bases, abandoned industrial sites.

Are you willing to sign a liability release waiver? Not that we do risky meetups but because the areas require alertness and caution. Yes or No.

Just beginning; took a two day field seminar with Harold Davis, and recently attended a Nocturnes event at Mare Island.

For new members you must upload 2-5 of your recent photos to the current Members' Photo Album. A visual introduction. You have 8 days to do it or your membership is cancelled. See Discussions tab in menu for directions.

Waterfront from Hunter's Point to Cliff House. Abandoned buildings, especially large military compounds. Also want to shoot Alameda Air Base, Mare Island, Ft. Ord, Great Highway row houses. Anyone have access to Hunters Point?

A meetup consist of a field shoot and "social" where we relax at an eatery to show a few of our recent photos. Not a critique but to learn from each others efforts and get in the practice of talking "photography". Comment?

Yes

Introduction

I took up photography as a way to capture and share the outdoor scenes that surround me. The digital imaging equipment evolution has opened up a world of creative possibilities for me and I am looking to connect with other photographers.
