Are you willing to be part of a group where we watch out for each other? Some people are tempted to go off on their own but this is not acceptable because we've wasted time waiting or searching for them. A clear photo of yourself is required.

I'd say my sense of adventure is cautious. I like trying to new things, and going to new places, but should it be dangerous, i'd need to assess the situation.

Can you remain calm in a dark abandoned building? Are you fit enough to run with the group and walk along uneven surfaces if the terrain requires it? If not, you shouldn't join this group.

The idea of visiting abandoned places peaks my interest, but i am open to experiencing anything new.

Are you willing to sign a liability release waiver? Not that we do risky meetups but because the areas require alertness and caution. Yes or No.

I'm not that experienced at nighttime photography. I've read a lot about techniques and such, but haven't really practiced it much.

For new members you must upload 2-5 of your recent photos to the current Members' Photo Album. A visual introduction. You have 8 days to do it or your membership is cancelled. See Discussions tab in menu for directions.

I don't have specific places in mind, but that's probably due to the fact that i've only lived in the bay area a year.

A meetup consist of a field shoot and "social" where we relax at an eatery to show a few of our recent photos. Not a critique but to learn from each others efforts and get in the practice of talking "photography". Comment?

I would not be comfortable leading a group mission, at least not until i've had a chance to settle in with the group and get a feel for it. I'm great when it comes to planning, so i would be ok helping out in anyway.

Introduction

I am interested in finding new places to explore and photograph. New places bring new inspiration and that perfect shot could be waiting at the next turn around the corner.
