Hi, I am Sue Thomson. I started my own photographic arts company, Spiritual Focus Photography, in 2011. I am also a teaching assistant, Minister of Worship & Music, and a new business owner in downtown Arlington Hts. I also write poetry and sing.

What media do you work in?

I am a photographic artist and I love shooting nature. I also have a Collide-a-Scope Collection that includes a wide variety of subject matter and is fashioned out of my own original photographs. Poetry has also been a piece that has emerged from this artist's heart and is often included with my work.

What inspires you?

I love looking at ordinary things and finding something extrordinary within them!

What kind of hands-on skill or project can you present to the group?

Possibly iPhone Art Apps or Quilling.

Do you have a website? If so, what is it? and

What is something you learned today and what is something you taught today?

I learned that even though I have had no formal training, my work was warmily embraced by formally trained artisits who have been in the professional art world for years. I believe that I may have shared another way to look at the world through my Collide-a-Scope art pieces.

Hey, I missed you at the meeting last night. You were the one person I was looking for that I wanted to talk to. Hope to see you at the next meeting. Are you on Linked-In? I think maybe you and I could be friends!
