I've been in Colorado 22 years, but have gotten too far away from hiking and snowshoeing. Would like to do some EASY jaunts to get back in shape before moving on to bigger adventures. Anyone up for that?
Hi Maggie and welcome to the group. You have joined a great group of laides. We are always having fun and looking forward to the next adventure. Looking forward to meeting you soon.
Welocme to the group, Maggie! This is a diverse and active group of ladies in the Denver Metro area. We have had loads of fun and adventure over our first year. Hope to see you soon!
I'd love to make the hike, but I am booked for Sunday -- and I am back to teaching MWF. I'm delighted that the event has gotten a good response. Boulder vicinity hikes are obviously a perfect fit for some Wowers.
Hi Maggie, thanks for the greeting. Although I have some experience, it has been a number of years since I have had the time to do any serious woodworking. I am looking forward to being motivated and inspired by the group. Rita
Thank you for the update and greeting. I look forward to getting together with the group.
I think it would be a good trail but I would like to look at doing this type of thing more toward the end of March, maybe into April. Now, I know I am sounding a bit paranoid, but what is the likelihood of running into cougars in that area? Its the one thing I am afraid of when walking in the mountains. The trail sounds good, but then again, I am not in shape at all so probably I would need to work up to long walks.
Welcome to the group, Maggie! So glad you can join us. Karen
