The group is for people who love modern and contemorary art and it's a great way to meet like minded people. Artforum magazine is a New York magazine about art, focusing on modern and contemporary art. The articles are really interesting and thought provoking and make for great discussion. If you love art, just grab the latest issue and come along. It's available in various news agencies, you can subscribe for $132(US) a year or you can get the articles from their website (artforum.com/inprint), but it's much better to have the magazine in front of you as it's a very glossy, beautiful magazine to look at. The group meets at 2pm on the first Sunday of each month at Danks St Depot in Waterloo over coffee to discuss the previous month's issue. The format is informal - the idea is for each member to share their thoughts on a couple of articles they read the previous month and for discussion to follow.
