Not So Silent Cinema

Orchestrated Film!!!

Tickets are 23.50 through paypal, your RSVP of yes will take you into Paypal.  I have reserved a table cabaret style right side front of the theater, and will add on more tables depending on interest. Lets get there early - 7:00 and we can order a Two Boots Pizza, (the Ticket is for the Film and orchestra reservation, processing fee included).

Stumbling through shooting galleries, trains, secret societies, and falling houses Buster Keaton delivers outrageous stunts and antics (all with the famous deadpan delivery that earned him the nickname “The Great Stone Face”) in four classic comedic shorts. Enjoy these films along with Brendan Cooney’s fresh new original scores, complementing the films with a classic 1920’s urban-Americana soundscape, combining many strands of American roots music. Ragtime and old-time meet the blues, bluegrass and hot jazz, played live by Cooney’s award-winning Not So Silent Cinema trio.

Great night out. The trio really captured the movement of the film, amazing performers! I am glad there is a revival of silent film happening, it amazes me how they built these action scenes, they take these scenes that must have been time consuming to shoot and make it look easy. Real artistry! Great Two Boots Pizza.
